Writting Department
- Wrote Story for the first adventure of the game
- Got an idea for how the third adventure is going to play out
Music and Sound Department
- Made account in website with free sound effects
- Got some sound effects for micelaneous stuff
Programming Department
- Polished first area to explore
- may need a level editor from now on
- here's an image
- Added debug controls in overworld to see level design better
- Added filter support to overworld's camera
- Added filter shaders for color blindness
- Added filter controls to debug overworld controls
- To see how a colorblind person will see the game (in order: original colors, deuteranopia, protanopia and tritanopia)
- Polished First area rearranging the trees because they were weirdly placed
Art Department
- Polished two item icons
- Added four item icons
I understand now why people use unity or godot. The lack of a level editor is hitting me hard. But I can't make a custom one given the deadline.
I think that I'll make my following games in unity but I sure have learnt a lot using love2d.
