Weekly Dev Log #31


This week was bug fixing galore! Half of what I did was fix bugs ugh.

Programming Department

  • Battle  App
    • Disabled the run away option for story battles
  • Overworld App
    • Added decorations to the second room of the forest
    • Added decorations to the third room of the forest
    • Polished home's backyard room
    • Fixed bug where you get stuck sometimes when going to the first forest room
    • Implemented two new moves for an enemy
    • Fixed bug that caused framerate drops for claculating too many collisions
    • Refactored Demo Rooms into Forest Rooms
  • Pause Menu App
    • Fixed bug where items are not consumed when using the
  • Editor
    • Implemented background position and movement
    • Implemented a tool to move all visible objects
    • Fixed bug where the objects were reset to their starting position when attempting two move them many times in a row
  • Other
    • Fixed like 6 bugs that prevented fullscreen mode to work properly

Art Department

  • Animated two new moves for an enemy
  • Created a hurt sprite for an enemy

Design Department

  • Designed new secret room forest
