This week was weird, I somehow broke my Version Control Server so I had to invest some hours reseting everything and recovering the data. Thankfully nothing was lost as I have backups, but because I was missing some tools the process took way longer than it should have. I have those tools now, so if it happens again it should take me a lot less time.
I hope this never happens to anyone reading this. Now back to the devlog!
Programming Department
- Overworld App
- Restricted camera movement in overworld when following player
- Added music to overworld
- Fixed a memory leak that occured when changing the music in the overworld
- Added music change option to warp pads
- Battle App
- Refactored condition descriptions to get them from a file
- Fixed move animation
- Other
- Added text speed as gameplay configuration
Art Department
- Made icon of the item version of an object
- Made 3 characters sprite sheets
Music Department
- Reworked beginning music track
- Created first area music
Design Department
- Designed new area of the game
